Tucked into the peaceful hills above Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villa Augflor is professionally prepared for guests — a private family home with owner storage locked away. The pool, garden, terraces, and parking are exclusively for your group — no shared facilities.

The architecture and interiors carry the same distinctive eye: thoughtfully styled bedrooms, a luminous open-plan living area, and terraces oriented for morning coffee, afternoon sunbathing, and starlit dinners alike.

A note on the layout: Villa Augflor has a proper, spacious ground floor with the main living spaces, kitchen, pool, and terraces. The upper level is a loft-style space — intimate and characterful, but with lower ceilings and a steep staircase to reach it. Guests who prefer ground-floor sleeping may wish to note this when requesting specific rooms.

No parties or events. This is a quiet residential neighbourhood and we ask all guests to be respectful of our community.

No noise or loud music outside. Quiet hours 22:00–08:00 strictly observed.

No smoking inside the property. Ash trays are provided on exterior terraces. No cigarette butts to be discarded anywhere on the grounds — dry summer conditions create a genuine fire risk.

Please use air conditioning consciously and mindfully — only when needed, and always close all windows and doors when it is on. Switch off all appliances before leaving the property for the day.

Please flush only human waste and toilet paper — nothing else (no wipes or sanitary products). These block the system; repair costs may be deducted from the security deposit if a plumber call-out is required.

No glass in or around the pool area at any time — plastic cups are provided for poolside use.

Children and infants must be supervised at all times near the pool (approx. 1.8 m at deepest end; no pool alarm or barrier).

Do not leave hats, clothing, or small items in the pool — they can clog the filtration system. Repair costs may apply if damage occurs.

Is the pool private?+
Yes. The pool, garden, and terraces are for the exclusive use of guests staying at Villa Augflor — not shared with other households. There is no pool barrier or alarm; children must be supervised at all times (deepest end approx. 1.8 m).
Is the villa shared with anyone else?+
No. You rent the entire property — three bedrooms, two bathrooms, pool, garden, parking, and living spaces are yours alone for the stay. One locked owner storage room is not accessible to guests.
Is Villa Augflor on the beach?+
No — we are not beachfront. The villa sits in a quiet residential hillside in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Beaches at Cros-de-Cagnes and along the coast are a short drive (typically 10–15 minutes). A car is recommended for Riviera day trips.
How does direct booking work?+
Message Lana on WhatsApp or email with dates and guest count. You receive a written quote (rent, cleaning €120, taxe de séjour at the 4-star rate) before any payment. After you accept, you sign a rental summary, pay a 30% deposit, and receive confirmation. See the Book Direct Safely page for all five steps.
When do I pay?+
30% deposit confirms your booking (secure card link or bank transfer after agreement). Balance due 30 days before arrival. €500 security deposit is payable on arrival only — not at booking — and refunded within 1–2 business days after check-out if there is no damage.
How is the security deposit handled?+
€500 is collected on arrival and held against minor damage, lost keys (€80), excess cleaning, or emergency call-outs. It is refunded within 1–2 business days after check-out when the property is left in good order. The collection method is confirmed in your signed rental agreement.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Confirmed direct bookings are normally non-refundable because availability is limited. Where possible, Lana may offer a date change or credit for a future stay within 12 months. If European governments impose non-essential travel restrictions covering your dates, contact us within 2 days for credit or refund options. Full details on terms.html. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Are parties or events allowed?+
No. Villa Augflor is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Parties, events, and loud outdoor music are not permitted. Quiet hours are 22:00–08:00. The property suits families, couples, and small groups of friends who respect neighbours.
What if something breaks during our stay?+
Report any issue promptly on WhatsApp (+33 623 777 333) so it can be logged and fixed. Accidental breakages should be reported before departure. Repair costs may be deducted from the security deposit; amounts beyond that are handled per your signed rental agreement.
How quickly will Lana reply?+
Usually within a few hours on WhatsApp — often faster in European daytime. Email enquiries for formal quotes are answered within 24 hours. For urgent summer dates, WhatsApp is fastest.
Do we need a car? Can we walk to shops?+
A car is recommended for beaches, day trips, and evening restaurants. Some bakeries and supermarkets are reachable on foot (12–17 min) but the villa is on a hill — Uber/taxi works for occasional trips. Cagnes-sur-Mer train station is nearby for Nice and Antibes.
Is there a cot, high chair, or stair gate?+
Cot and high chair available on request. There is no fixed stair gate — the loft staircase is steep, so the ground-floor Provence bedroom is best for toddlers. Plastic cups are provided for poolside use.
Can we book for 6 adults?+
The villa sleeps up to 6 with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is ideal for 4 guests; 5–6 works well for families. Six adult friends should note shared bathroom access on the loft level.
What is the minimum stay?+
A 7-night minimum applies for all open season months (June, July, August, September). Contact Lana directly if you're interested in a shorter stay — availability around existing bookings occasionally allows for it.
Are pets allowed?+
Unfortunately pets are not permitted at Villa Augflor. This applies to all animals including dogs and cats. The policy protects guests with allergies and preserves the garden and pool. We appreciate your understanding.
What are the bed sizes?+
The three bedrooms have beds sized 200×220 cm, 180×200 cm, and 160×200 cm respectively. Please let Lana know if you have specific preferences when booking and she'll do her best to allocate accordingly.

Villa Augflor has a full, spacious ground floor with the main living areas, kitchen, dining, and direct access to the pool and terraces. The upper floor is a loft-style space — characterful and cosy, but with lower ceilings and a steep staircase to reach it. Guests who need easier access or prefer standard ceiling heights may wish to request ground-floor rooms. Please ask Lana when booking.
How much does booking direct save?+
Direct booking avoids platform guest service fees and gives you a written quote before payment. You deal with Lana directly — flexible payment by secure card link or bank transfer, and optional help arranging transfers, chefs, and local experiences.
Is there parking? How do we get from Nice Airport?+
There is private parking at the villa for 2 cars. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 15 minutes by car. Lana can arrange a private airport transfer (recommend booking in advance). Cagnes-sur-Mer train station — served by direct regional and TGV trains — is also very close to the villa.
Can we arrange a private chef or catering?+
Yes. Lana works with trusted local chefs and caterers who can prepare meals at the villa — from a romantic Provençal dinner for two to a full-group feast with local wine pairings. Mention it in your booking enquiry and Lana will handle the rest.
Is the villa available in April, May, or October?+
The villa is generally closed outside the main season (June–September). However, if you're interested in those months, contact Lana directly — individual room availability may occasionally exist. It's always worth enquiring.
