Paying a private host instead of a platform is normal on the Riviera — when the process is clear. Here is exactly how Villa Augflor direct booking works, from first message to arrival.

Five-step process

What happens after you enquire

1 · Enquiry — Send dates, guest count, and trip type via WhatsApp or email. Lana typically replies within a few hours (often faster on WhatsApp).

2 · Written quote — You receive availability, nightly rate (shoulder €420 · peak €480), cleaning fee (€120), taxe de séjour at the 4-star classified rate (€2.53/adult/night), and total before any payment.

3 · Rental agreement — Signed booking summary by email covering dates, guests, payment schedule, house rules, and cancellation terms.

4 · Secure payment — 30% deposit to confirm. Balance due 30 days before arrival. Pay by Visa, MasterCard (secure payment link), or bank transfer (IBAN provided after agreement). €500 refundable security deposit payable on arrival — not at booking.

5 · Confirmation & pre-arrival guide — Booking confirmation email, check-in details, key-locker instructions, and local tips before you travel.

Pricing summary

One clear price — no surprises

Canonical rates (2026)

  • Shoulder (June · September): €420/night
  • Peak summer (July · August): €480/night direct
  • Ideal for 4 guests · maximum 6
  • 7-night minimum in open season

Mandatory extras (quoted upfront)

  • Cleaning fee: €120 (once per stay)
  • Taxe de séjour: €2.53 per paying adult per night (4-star classified rate, Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur; under-18s exempt)
  • Security deposit: €500 on arrival (refunded post-stay)

Direct booking avoids platform guest service fees. Example 7-night peak total (4 adults): €3,360 rent + €120 cleaning + €71 taxe ≈ €3,551 direct (platform comparison on rates page — fees vary).

If we must cancel

Your protection

We reserve the right to cancel only in exceptional circumstances: unforeseen damage making the villa unsafe, death of the host or immediate family, or serious breach of house rules. If we cancel for reasons outside your control, you receive a full refund of amounts paid.

Cancellation at a glance

Firm but fair

Because Villa Augflor is a small private seasonal property with limited availability, confirmed direct bookings are normally non-refundable. Where possible, we will try to help you move dates or receive a credit for a future stay within 12 months.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. If European governments impose non-essential travel restrictions covering your dates, contact us within 2 days for credit or refund options (see full cancellation policy).
